When I found out that we were getting a Trader Joe’s in Germantown, TN I was ecstatic!! I occasionally shopped at Trader Joe’s when I would be out of town & always thought to myself… “This place is so cool. I wish we had one in Memphis.” And BOOM September 14, 2018 one opens near me. How dope is that?! For the past two years, I have been shopping at this store & every time it feels like a new experience. There’s always a new product to try & experiment with. From various food choices, candles, doggie treats, or facial products there is always something that I need (yes “need”) from Trader Joe’s on a weekly basis. My all-time favorite section of the store is the frozen food section. During the pandemic I did a lot of cooking, however, at times I just didn’t feel like standing on my feet for long periods of time prepping and cooking a meal. I’ve eaten frozen meals/foods before, but nothing like these. It’s something special about them. They actually taste like restaurant-quality food. I’m going to show you the 23 best Trader Joe’s Frozen Foods well at least in my opinion.
Burger night? Try either one of these on your favorite bun (mine is the brioche buns) with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, mayo & ketchup. That’s how I like it. All you have to do is put the patty in the oven or in a skillet on top of the stove. Super simple and quick! Trader Joe’s also has frozen french fries or if you like sweet potato fries to pair with either one of these burgers.
Taco Tuesday just got easier. These Mini Beef Tacos are great! Just pop them in the oven at 425 degrees for about 7 minutes & that’s it! I included the chips, salsa, queso, & pico for emphasis. Add a margarita & it’s a Mexican fiesta in your kitchen!
Craving Chinese food… Try the Chicken or Veggie Fried Rice along with some Chicken Spring Rolls. This is definitely restaurant quality. I used a cast-iron skillet and put some butter, garlic, half of a shallot, & some black pepper in it. Pour on some Soy Sauce to enhance the flavor. It’s so delicious! 😋
Ever been to Chili’s & had a Triple Dipper where you can select three different appetizers? That’s what I think of when I bought these great frozen snacks. Grab a bottle of the Trader Giotto’s Roasted Garlic Marinara Sauce for the Ravioli, Mac & Cheese Bites & the Mozzarella Sticks. And pick up a bottle of the Trader Joe’s Carolina Gold Barbecue Sauce for the Chicken Tenders. YUM!!!
Another quick meal that I came up with strolling the aisle of TJ’s is this tasty Marinated Grilled Eggplant, Zucchini, & Red Peppers assortment. I added some red onions to the mix. Then paired it with the Trader Joe’s Brown Rice and some Asparagus. This literally only took me 20 minutes to prepare & it’s healthy! Sounds like a winning combo to me!
Pasta Night!! Grab your fav bottle of vino (mine is Pinot Grigio) & grab one of these easy breezy pasta meals. The Linguine is very versatile. I’ve added chicken or shrimp to it along with more cherry tomatoes, garlic & onions. These meals cut your time in half because you don’t have to make your own sauce or boil the pasta.
These two products are great add-on items. I have used the Grilled Chicken for just about anything. Add it to your Pasta, Tacos, Salads, or eat it alone with maybe a side item. Stick it in an air fryer or on top of the stove in a skillet & it’s ready in minutes. The peppers can be unthawed & used in the same manner. I’ve used them in Tacos, Breakfast Burritos & more.
If you’re like me & don’t know how to make French Toast (tragic I know) then this is for you! Add this to your morning breakfast or Sunday Brunch with Mimosas & Peach Bellini’s of course! 😉
I love Italian food, however, sometimes I just don’t want or need all those carbs. Here are a couple of healthier alternatives. The Eggplant Parmesan is delish & it takes no effort to make. All you have to do is pop it in the oven for 45 minutes. The organic pizza crusts are AH-MAZING! I mean cause who has time to roll out their own dough anyway? All I do is take the crust out of the bag, lay it on a pizza pan, & add the toppings. I suggest Trader Giotto’s Pizza Sauce.
Last, but certainly not least is DESSERT!!! Who doesn’t love something sweet after dinner or anytime for that matter! When I first tried the Cheesecake Cones I wanted to eat all four! 🤣 I didn’t though… I promise! I like these desserts because they are small so I don’t feel guilty about having one after dinner. Or if I just happen to get a sweet tooth out of the blue these are perfect.
I hope you get a chance to try some of these products if you haven’t already. TJ’s frozen food section can make your life so much easier. Some are higher than others like for instance the Fried Rice is a little over 500 mg. I do watch my sodium intake though.

Gosh I love everything at Trader Joe’s I wish I did not have to make a special treck to go to the nearest one in our area, LOL! One day they will build one closer to our community, as it is in such a high demand.

Love everything this article! I will definitely be visiting Trader Joe’s this weekend for some of the quick/tasty meals that you recommended.
