My first blog post!! I can’t believe it!! I’ve been wanting to do this for quite some time now. I made every excuse in the world not to get started…. the timing wasn’t right… I didn’t have the means etc. etc! This year I told myself that I’m just going to do it! No more excuses! I had a few roadblocks along the way. One being this site. I had no idea what I was doing. I thought to myself that I got my degree in the wrong thing! I should have went into IT! LOL! I reached out to several companies & WOW it’s super expensive!
So I then reached out to a couple bloggers one being Courtney B. I purchased her blog course No B.S. Blog Building. It really helped me to sort all this out. I then reached out to a local blogger Kristen Funston who was nice enough to meet me at a Starbucks to show me how this WordPress site works. Even after all that I still struggled a bit. How do I get pictures on my WordPress site? How can I make my site look pretty like all the other bloggers I follow? I was exhausted! I then found out about a company called The Little Blue Deer Design. I emailed them and came into contact with Shari Miller. She helped me out a lot! I’m so grateful because I was so distraught over this whole ordeal. Now I’m up and running and I couldn’t be more excited!
Thanks to everyone that helped me along the way. Thanks to my Mom and my friend Brittany for taking my iPhone photos. LOL! Cameras are super expensive besides I don’t know which one I want. I notice a lot bloggers and photographers use either a Canon or a Nikon. If you have any suggestions they will be greatly appreciated. Thanks to my boo Kelon for listening to me gripe about literally EVERYTHING!! Lol! So welcome to my little section of the internet. I hope you come and stay for a while. 😉
